Done quite a bit of research on Data Centre REITs in Singapore recently. One thing stood out to me: Despite market fluctuations, DC REITs have shown a strong upward trend. Why? Because in this era, Data centres are no longer just real estate, they are core AI infra. Every AI model depends on DC to compute, which makes DC REITs an interesting indicator of the AI economy. We often focus on the software layer of AI, but underneath it all, infra factors including power demand and cooling systems matter just as much. AI hype changes fast, but infra demand usually stays. #AI #Datacentre #aiinfra
