So many educators I am meeting are saying the same thing - teachers are not coming to PD offerings in the numbers they used to. Is anyone else finding this? And does anyone understand why? I would love to know more …. edsurge.com/news/2023-12-1…

I've struggled to find sound, quantitative analysis supporting or debunking this hypothesis of mine. Would any of y'all happen to know of research showing an increase or decrease in number sense, mathematical fluency, etc. while using calculators vs. not? Preferably HS. (3/3)

@RileyMathClass @Meta IMO most things Meta are advertising platforms masquerading at social media platforms. Twitter has sort of gone that direction lately too.

2 Twitter accounts and it’s interesting how much more discussion there is in personal network compared to professional about @Meta Threads. I have noticed that there’s no hashtag so it may be hard to find conversations like #mtbos or #thinkingclassroom. Maybe I’m missing it.
