Most kids dont understand story lines about redemption. Theyre too filled with Christian ideas about instantaneous salvation.
They cant imagine that you will sometimes spend your entire life making up for something you did wrong and it isnt going to end. You will do it until you die. And salvation is about accepting that place - to other people - not just your inner thoughts and conversations with God.
