It’s rare in life to know when a chapter is closing, but after 38 years at Microsoft, that moment has arrived for me. I’ve made the decision to retire and begin the next chapter of my life. It’s a milestone that’s given me a chance to reflect on the incredible journey I’ve been fortunate enough to share with so many of you.

@MissJilianne I haven't seen one projections of sales with any data, NOT ONE. Tesla stock is probably $500b higher because of the robots, but no one can show a market, cost, value....it will just be a novelty for years.

@SamCKx @Tesla No other brands have not taken over. Everything from Europe is still shit compared to tesla. Even the much vaunted Xiaomi car is very traditional in that it still has a key and a start button.

As we shift to an autonomous future, Model S & X production will wind down next quarter. If you’d like to own one of them, now’s a good time to place your order. Tesla wouldn’t be what it is today without Model S & X and their (early) owners – thank you for your support over the last decade

Sometimes you complain about ChatGPT being too restrictive, and then in cases like this you claim it's too relaxed. Almost a billion people use it and some of them may be in very fragile mental states. We will continue to do our best to get this right and we feel huge responsibility to do the best we can, but these are tragic and complicated situations that deserve to be treated with respect. It is genuinely hard; we need to protect vulnerable users, while also making sure our guardrails still allow all of our users to benefit from our tools. Apparently more than 50 people have died from crashes related to Autopilot. I only ever rode in a car using it once, some time ago, but my first thought was that it was far from a safe thing for Tesla to have released. I won't even start on some of the Grok decisions. You take "every accusation is a confession" so far.

Then there's the noise, the lack of real dual zone climate, cost savings here and there... Premium enshitification

@RivAngE @JBRoth61 @elonmusk 🤣 that is a tear down from years of use or maybe negligence, can happen to a BMW or Mercedes, anyways for 40k you are getting a car the “feels” like a luxury car and Tesla treats it like one, doesn’t mean they are all around Luxury. Mine is very noisy ….

I should also mention that the $99/month for supervised FSD will rise as FSD’s capabilities improve. The massive value jump is when you can be on your phone or sleeping for the entire ride (unsupervised FSD).

NEWS: Tesla has officially discontinued Autopilot in the U.S. and Canada. All new car purchases now come standard with Traffic-Aware Cruise Control. The online configurator has now been updated to allow buyers to choose the $99/month FSD subscription, while still offering the option to purchase FSD outright for $8,000 until February 14th. New Tesla vehicles purchases still come with a 30-day free trial of FSD (Supervised).

[Exclusive] Samsung’s bold decision… Galaxy S26 prices to stay unchanged Samsung Electronics has decided to keep the prices of its flagship smartphone lineup, the “Galaxy S26” series, unchanged when it launches in March this year. Tesla is training a new FSD model with ~10X params and a big improvement to video compression loss. Probably ready for public release end of next month if testing goes well.

@elonmusk Unhappy Model S owner here. You've downgraded your cars with each new refresh, replacing solid sensors with guess-work and cutting costs everywhere possible. You were years ahead of the competition but you decided to move backwards and let them catch up.

Extreme execution is needed, but a valuation of $20 trillion for Tesla is possible
