It’s rare in life to know when a chapter is closing, but after 38 years at Microsoft, that moment has arrived for me. I’ve made the decision to retire and begin the next chapter of my life. It’s a milestone that’s given me a chance to reflect on the incredible journey I’ve been fortunate enough to share with so many of you.

@MissJilianne I haven't seen one projections of sales with any data, NOT ONE. Tesla stock is probably $500b higher because of the robots, but no one can show a market, cost, value....it will just be a novelty for years.

As we shift to an autonomous future, Model S & X production will wind down next quarter. If you’d like to own one of them, now’s a good time to place your order. Tesla wouldn’t be what it is today without Model S & X and their (early) owners – thank you for your support over the last decade

Sometimes you complain about ChatGPT being too restrictive, and then in cases like this you claim it's too relaxed. Almost a billion people use it and some of them may be in very fragile mental states. We will continue to do our best to get this right and we feel huge responsibility to do the best we can, but these are tragic and complicated situations that deserve to be treated with respect. It is genuinely hard; we need to protect vulnerable users, while also making sure our guardrails still allow all of our users to benefit from our tools. Apparently more than 50 people have died from crashes related to Autopilot. I only ever rode in a car using it once, some time ago, but my first thought was that it was far from a safe thing for Tesla to have released. I won't even start on some of the Grok decisions. You take "every accusation is a confession" so far.

Then there's the noise, the lack of real dual zone climate, cost savings here and there... Premium enshitification

@RivAngE @JBRoth61 @elonmusk 🤣 that is a tear down from years of use or maybe negligence, can happen to a BMW or Mercedes, anyways for 40k you are getting a car the “feels” like a luxury car and Tesla treats it like one, doesn’t mean they are all around Luxury. Mine is very noisy ….

@JBRoth61 @elonmusk That’s your problem right there, Tesla is NOT for middle class, they have always treat their brand as a luxury brand, all but the full price, insurance, lease options, services, tire replacement, etc etc. if FSD is too expensive for you then don’t get it! No other brand has it.

NEWS: Tesla has officially discontinued Autopilot in the U.S. and Canada. All new car purchases now come standard with Traffic-Aware Cruise Control. The online configurator has now been updated to allow buyers to choose the $99/month FSD subscription, while still offering the option to purchase FSD outright for $8,000 until February 14th. New Tesla vehicles purchases still come with a 30-day free trial of FSD (Supervised).

[Exclusive] Samsung’s bold decision… Galaxy S26 prices to stay unchanged Samsung Electronics has decided to keep the prices of its flagship smartphone lineup, the “Galaxy S26” series, unchanged when it launches in March this year. The industry had previously expected a price hike to be unavoidable due to rising component costs and the weakening Korean won. However, Samsung made this decision on the grounds that it could lose market share to its biggest rival Apple and rapidly advancing Chinese manufacturers. According to industry sources on the 1st, Samsung will set the launch prices for all Galaxy S26 models (based on 256GB) at the same levels as the previous Galaxy S25 series. This would mark the fourth consecutive year of maintaining prices. Accordingly, the base Galaxy S26 model is expected to sell for $799, the S26 Plus for $999, and the S26 Ultra for $1,299. Domestic prices may be affected by exchange rates, but they are likely to match the Galaxy S25 series in Korea: 1,155,000 won for the base model, 1,353,000 won for the Plus, and 1,698,400 won for the Ultra. Samsung is also reportedly planning to effectively keep prices unchanged for its foldable series scheduled for release in July. If so, the Galaxy Fold 8 would be priced the same as the Fold 7 at $1,999 (about 2,379,000 won), while the Flip 8 would be $1,099 (about 1,485,000 won). While Samsung will hold prices steady for its flagship lineup, it plans to raise prices for some models in its value-focused Galaxy A series. The strategy appears to be to minimize consumer backlash by freezing flagship prices while protecting earnings by increasing prices in the mid-range and budget segment.

@UniverseIce Don't they re-release the same model every year anyway? Same battery, screen, design, similar cameras... I've been sticking with Samsung but I'm not sure anymore. I don't change phones every year but if after 2 years they still offer no decent improvement I'll probably go Chinese

NVL-S ships with NPU6 at 74 TOPS, a three-generation uplift from the 13 TOPS of ARL-S. The iGPU is comprised of 2 Xe3-LPG cores, a regression in core count from the 4 in ARL-S.

@Marcodmeatball And Indiana Jones and Star Wars... not sure which score they've submitted but it's probably nothing 100% original. Sure their scores are great, but unless the award is something like "Classic hit of old times", they don't deserve to be there.

There’s a lot of nuance in this conversation around who is “deserving” of the Grammy and the nomination process. Etc etc. I do find it odd that avatar and outlaws were nominated again. This time for their DLC. Not sure the Grammy people know or care lol. It’s mind boggling that the number #1 billboard chart ost of Clair obscur isn’t on this list. And kind of upsetting to be honest. Am I grateful video games have their own category? Yes. After all, it’s a recent thing. Do I think it needs some refinement? Also yes.

@elonmusk Unhappy Model S owner here. You've downgraded your cars with each new refresh, replacing solid sensors with guess-work and cutting costs everywhere possible. You were years ahead of the competition but you decided to move backwards and let them catch up.
