@Lord_Sugar It’s a shame that the teams always produce poor results. Imagine both teams produced a good product, or money to make your decision difficult. It’s like watching two relegation threatened teams rather than a Real Madrid vs Barca of the ‘brightest business minds we have to offer.’

IF IT'S NOT BROKE DON'T FIX IT. The media seem to think The Apprentice format is stale. I compare it to football. The rules are the same every game, but something special happens every game. That something is different players every season. We inspire young people every year. @bbcapprentice

@RadioTimes Rubbish results, and judging by the preview, it doesn’t get better. For years, Sugar has chosen which team wins in tasks where both teams have produced awful products or low amounts. I can’t remember a task where both teams have excelled and he’s had a difficult choice to make.

@ChrisDHWaugh @ToonPolls If they changed it back this weekend for the city game, they’d get an even bigger reaction from the fans than what they normally would for a ‘big game’.

🤔 #NUFC fans, how do you feel about the dressing-room/coaching-staff-led move to switch the order of Local Hero & The Blaydon Races pre-game? 🎶 Please vote below (& feel free to reply with any comments you may have as well) (CC @ToonPolls)

Every single year a select few morons cannot understand simple instructions regarding the mins silence and ruin the whole thing. Next year should have the period of silence first closed out by The Last Post. #nufc

@Magpie24_7 I think the formation killed him. There was no supply because of it, aside from the one time Ramsey went down the left and crossed. It resulted in him dropping deep, receiving the ball and passing back into midfield, or running the wings. 433 could’ve been a different story.

What did you make of Will Osula yesterday? To me this highlighted the same frustration I had all pre-season watching him, in that he is still incredibly raw and he struggles to make ANY impact in games, bar his prod against Liverpool as a sub. His lack of impact could not have been more evident than against Leeds United yesterday when he had a big chance to impress Eddie Howe. The 22-year-old striker barely got a sniff of anything and just ran about, giving away free kicks. One chance that did come his way in the first half, was blocked by a Leeds defender and that was that. I love his character, but I loved Miggy Almiron's character too and I think the same argument of lack of end product gets rightly placed at both men's feet? We need players of the right quality to push on and I'm honestly not convinced he is ever going to be the player some think he could be!? 🤔 He only touched the ball 24 times in the entire game, with 1 shot . The only Newcastle players to touch the ball less were Anthony Elanga and Harvey Barnes, who were introduced in the second half. I know his team mates should have done more in the attacking third too, which we have seen off them elsewhere, but Osula got played yesterday as we literally had NO alternative and he did nothing. Does he need a loan and regular minutes or was he a risk the club took when looking for a cheap and available striker to make good of last year? I know some Sheffield United fans and they were pleased that they sold him! Don't get me wrong I want him to succeed and he's a likeable bloke, but as we've seen with the likes of Longstaff and Wilson the club is trying to move onwards and upwards and I'm not sure whether he's good enough to make the step up, despite the mentors he has had at the club to learn off last season. This will be a contentious one I'm sure! #NUFC #NUFCFans #NUFCNews #Newcastle

@Magpie24_7 433 destroys Leeds and we have the players to do it. Have we tried to be too clever with a formation that works against a team that doesn’t play out from the back?

@CraigHope_DM A striker in Isak who wouldn’t have pressed the ball like Gordon has to win the ball back high up the pitch?

@NFFCJRM My friend says incorrect. 42m will have been depreciated to around £18m (3 years into 5 year contract). 60m*90% =54m, minus £18m = 36m profit. Nerd that he is.

@The_Looney_Toon No idea why he switched to 442 after 15 minutes going so well. Gordon went central with Isak and we didn’t get a kick. Corrected it second half but why the change?

First 25 & last 25 gd, but the 40 mins inbetween was fucking awful. The subs made a massive difference. Trippier has to stay. He’s levels above In fact every sub imo is better than the player who started (apart from Almiron) Trips > Tino Willock > longstaff Barnes>murphy

@footballontnt Same as giving a freekick to a defender when a striker slides to stop a clearance which gets cleared and they clip the follow through. Bet we all give loads of those.
