@hetapeep41 Yeah, former fans can watch football and ignore matches against the Israeli team. I don't have an interest in sports (especially football), so I just choose to watch ESC and ignore the Israeli song instead. I don't want Israel in the contest, but I never planned on boycotting.

@evangeliaesc @LewisJ815 Agreed. I'm not boycotting entire Eurovision, I'm only boycotting the Israeli entry. As long as Israel doesn't win Eurovision (and it doesn't look like they are going to this year), I'm not letting them ruin my joy and excitement for the contest.

@LewisJ815 I guess you can't cheat your way into a major tournament if you don't know how to kick a ball, but at least sports and football fans have their goddamn tournaments. I wish there was the same energy regarding boycotts aimed at FIFA/UEFA as with the EBU currently.

@Robbin_V Nope they definitely do not. But thankfully Israel can't cheat or manipulate scoring in non-ESC events. I imagine people would make a bigger deal out of it if Israel actually got into any major tournaments but they dont cos without emotional sympathy they suck at everything

@Robbin_V Israel are shite at football and get nowhere and can’t use it to spread genocide propaganda cos they never make a major tournament so I assume that’s where the difference lies. It’s not just that Israel are in ESC, it’s the flagrant rule breaking and propaganda EBU allows.
