. PLEASE - Comment, Like and Share... It costs you nothing and takes minimal effort. It helps with the algorithm and allows me to reach more people and spread the word. But more meaningfully, it lets me know that my efforts are appreciated and that I'm on the right track and provides the encouragement I need to carry on. . . HURRAY!!! . But do we really expect it to go anywhere? . No. . It's just a circus... there's more yapping, growling and barking than a kennel at feeding time at these events. Then it's over. Nobody's ever indicted, nobody's ever brought to trial, nobody ever sees the inside of a jail cell. . Yawn!... Wake me up when it's over... I've already seen too many re-runs of "The Dog & Pony Show". . I have decided the whole damn system is broken. The "leaders" in the District of Criminals aren't the highest among us, they are the lowest common denominator: the liars, the cutthroats, the thieves, the "sell-outs", the traitors, and even the murderers. Because many of them are legitimate murderers as you would find in any crime cartel. And it's because this crime cartel has hijacked the very machinery that was designed to fight corruption, treachery and treason, that none of these crooks ever see the inside of a jail cell. They usually don't even get fired anymore, when the shit really hits the fan, just transferred or promoted. Taken out of the limelight, and then you never hear another word about them. I've seen this happen over and over again, this same pattern. When's the last time you saw one word in print about Alejandro Mayorkis? And now Bovino, Noem and Bondi are following in the same footsteps. As far as the press is concerned, they never even existed. This is like "1984" shit, yo... .

. Like we'll ever see a $250 dollar bill... . What kind of megalomaniac wants his name plastered all over things that have been solely the domain of the deceased from Day One? This guy's a walking, talking obscenity. . You know, I have to add this, because I feel it's so important... . People all over the world, are looking at this guy, and looking at him as the "Poster Child" for "America". You get where I'm going with this? . It's the duty of each of us to take responsibility, to take it upon ourselves to be "Brand Ambassadors" for our nation. We must reach out and broadcast to the world at large that this corrupt, self-serving pig is NOT who we are ... is NOT what we stand for! . That's our job and we must take it seriously. When in quiet moments you ask yourself, "What can I do, even though I'm only one person?" Well... it's this type of task that is conceivable, believable and achievable. . One person CAN change the world. . I love you. . Pay it forward. .

. TO CLARIFY THINGS SOMEWHAT : . The provision doesn't force Hegseth to explain past firings retroactively. It mandates that going forward, the Pentagon has five days to explain any senior officer removal to Congress. That's an important distinction. The past 24 firings are not covered unless the full House, Senate, and ultimately Trump sign it into law — which is far from guaranteed. . What Ryan Did Ryan introduced a provision to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) mandating that the Secretary of Defense has five days to explain to Congress why a senior military officer was removed from their position. The requirement was unanimously added by the panel as it debated the NDAA. It was agreed to by voice vote without objections. . Why it Happened Hegseth fired or sidelined about two dozen senior military officers since taking over the Pentagon, prompting concern from lawmakers in both parties that experienced leaders are being removed with little explanation. The most explosive single case: the dismissal of Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George in April 2026, as well as former Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. C.Q. Brown and former Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Lisa Franchetti. . The Republican Crack in the Wall Rep. Austin Scott, a Republican from Georgia, told Hegseth directly: "I do want you to know I disagree with the firing of Gen. George," adding he had sent the Pentagon a letter and "look forward to seeing the responses on that." Republicans largely avoided critical questions at the April hearing but the unanimous voice vote Thursday signals the dam is leaking. . -- Robin Reynolds .

BREAKING: Rep. Pat Ryan just got the House Armed Services Committee UNANIMOUSLY to force Pete Hegseth to explain every senior military firing within the next 5 days. Hegseth has fired 24+ officers without cause or explanation. Even Republicans want answers.

. _________________________________________ A ROBIN REYNOLDS EXCLUSIVE REVEAL _________________________________________ . THE PROMISE AND THE PRICE Trump, Medicaid, and the Billionaire Tax Deal . THE PROMISE Donald Trump has made the same promise in every political campaign he has run. In his first campaign speech in June 2015, he told the country: "Save Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security without cuts. Have to do it." On the trail in New Hampshire that same year, he said: "Every Republican wants to do a big number on Social Security, they want to do it on Medicare, they want to do it on Medicaid. And we can't do that." He told The Daily Signal directly: "I'm not going to cut Social Security like every other Republican and I'm not going to cut Medicare or Medicaid." PolitiFact logged the promise on its official Trump promise tracker. Rated: Promise Broken. As recently as May 4, 2025 -- weeks before the One Big Beautiful Bill moved through Congress -- Trump told Meet the Press he would veto any bill that cut Medicaid. "But they're not cutting it," he added. "They're looking at fraud, waste and abuse. And nobody minds that." On July 4, 2025, he signed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act into law. . THE PRICE The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office estimated that the One Big Beautiful Bill Act cuts federal spending on Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program by $1.02 trillion over the next decade -- the largest rollback of federal health care funding in American history. The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities estimates that 10.6 million people will lose access to Medicaid over that period. The CBO's own figure: 11.8 million people uninsured by 2034 as a direct result of the bill's provisions. The Democratic arm of the Joint Economic Committee put the number at 20 million. The cuts are not targeted at fraud, waste, and abuse. The largest single reduction -- $326 billion -- comes from work reporting requirements that strip Medicaid from adults who cannot document 80 hours of monthly work, training, or volunteer activity. Cancer patients mid-treatment. AIDS patients on medication regimens. People with disabilities whose conditions fluctuate. People in rural areas where the paperwork infrastructure to prove compliance does not exist. The bill does not ask whether these people are defrauding the government. It asks whether they can fill out the forms correctly and on time. Many cannot. They lose coverage. More than 300 rural hospitals are currently at immediate risk of closure as a direct result of the funding reductions. The average rural hospital operates on a 3.1 percent margin. Medicaid revenue is not optional for these institutions. When it goes, they go. . THE DEAL IN THE ROOM In 2024, Trump attended a $50 million fundraising gala at the home of billionaire hedge fund investor John Paulson. The dinner grossed $50.5 million for Trump's campaign, his Save America PAC, the Republican National Committee, and state parties. When he thought the cameras were not fully on, Trump told the room: "We're going to give you tax cuts." The room was full of billionaires. Elon Musk spent more than $130 million supporting Trump and the GOP in 2024. Timothy Mellon, heir to the Mellon banking fortune, donated more than $100 million -- the largest single donor in the cycle. Scott Bessent, whom Trump named Treasury Secretary, donated more than $1 million to MAGA Inc. and another $676,500 to Trump's campaign and affiliated committees. Ike Perlmutter and his wife sent $25 million to Right for America. Warren Stephens gave $3 million to MAGA Inc. and was named ambassador to the United Kingdom. The list runs to 40 documented billionaire donors. Trump kept his word to them. Under the One Big Beautiful Bill, the top 1 percent of earners -- those making $917,000 a year or more -- receive an average annual tax cut of $61,000 to $66,000. The middle 60 percent of American earners received cuts ranging from $380 to $1,800. The Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy calculated that 69 percent of all net tax cuts in 2026 flow to the top 20 percent of earners. The estate tax exemption was permanently raised to $15 million per individual -- a provision with zero relevance to anyone outside the multi-millionaire class. The Center for American Progress, drawing on CBO and Joint Committee on Taxation estimates, put the arithmetic plainly: the bill's Medicaid cuts for low-income families and its tax giveaways to the top 1 percent of earners are roughly equal in size. Approximately $1 trillion each. Over the same decade. The money does not disappear. It moves. It moves from Medicaid to the top of the income distribution. . THE DOCUMENTATION ProPublica, using confidential IRS records, documented how the mechanism works in practice. Ultrawealthy donors contribute to campaigns. Legislators friendly to those donors shape the tax legislation to accommodate specific provisions benefiting them directly. Dick and Liz Uihlein of packaging giant Uline and roofing magnate Diane Hendricks contributed around $20 million to groups backing House Speaker Mike Johnson's reelection. The expanded tax break Johnson then muscled through netted them $215 million in deductions in a single year. In the first year after Trump signed the original 2017 tax legislation, just 82 ultrawealthy households collectively walked away with more than $1 billion in savings. ProPublica's conclusion: the millions spent on campaign donations and lobbying were minuscule compared with the years of tax savings locked in return. The 2025 bill is the 2017 bill made permanent, expanded, and paid for with Medicaid. . THE BOTTOM LINE Trump promised not to touch Medicaid. He said it in 2015. He said it in 2016. He said it in 2024. He said it on May 4, 2025. On July 4, 2025, he signed a law cutting Medicaid by $1 trillion -- the largest such cut in the program's 60-year history -- stripping coverage from between 10 and 20 million Americans, closing rural hospitals, and ending treatment for cancer patients, AIDS patients, and others with life-threatening conditions who depend on the program to stay alive. The tax cuts that Medicaid paid for delivered an average of $61,000 to $66,000 annually to every member of the top 1 percent. The donors who funded Trump's campaign received what they were promised in the room at John Paulson's house. The patients received what they were promised at every campaign rally. The difference is that only one of those promises was kept. .
