Laas Geel is among hundreds of caves along the Golis mountain ranges in Northern Somalia that show case the rich history of Cushitic civilisations—the founders of the first civilisations in the world; the Bronze Age civilisations. I know of dozens of similar caves in both Calmadow & Calmiskaat with paintings & unique artefacts.
