As the SPL league Executive Committee announced to the teams tonight, the RoboCup Federation Trustees have voted to end the Standard Platform League after this competition. Going forward, our league will be merged with the Humanoid Kid-Size League.

This year, our SPL league played three friendly matches vs. Humanoid league robots -- 2 on our fields and 1 on a Humanoid field. B-Human adapted to the different field and a different ball to win both of their matches with a score of 6:0 after just the first half!

Congratulations to RoboEireann on an excellent tournament! The Ireland-based team promoted from the development "Challenge Shield" league to the "Champions Cup" this year, finished 4th in the seeding round, and won the third-place match to finish third in the tournament!

Challenge Shield Round 2 SABANA Herons 9:0 RedBackBots @unisabana takes a dominating lead in the Challenge Shield standings with another big victory over another solid opponent.

Challenge Shield Round 2 WisTex United 6:0 Naova WisTex claimed its second victory in two matches with a resounding performance via Naova. Despite the result, the well-organized Naova defense put up a good fight, which should serve them well later in the tournament.

Champions Cup Round 2 B-Human 5:0 RoboEireann @pennybhuman continues their dominance in the SPL league with a solid victory over a scrappy RoboEireann team that wouldn't go down without a fight!
