After 7 years on LoR I've been laid off, effective in 2 months.
It's certainly a deeply sad time, but the pain of these emotions derive from all the awesome experiences we've created within this community.

Also if it needs to be said I have no doubt that the devs that worked on LoR gave their all every day. They're amazing, we had an amazing dev team who cared and engaged with the community and were 10/10. When I complain about Riot failings it's capital R Riot. It's the company
