Do you believe Satan is a real being? Then you have to have some faith in the Christian theology to believe Satan is a real being on this Earth and for "Christians to be consumed by". Most religions don't believe in Satan, only the religions of Abraham do. If you don't don't believe in Satan then you don't believe Christians are consumed by Satan either.
