Regardless both the novel and the show specifically credits Aang in unlocking and restoring Korra’s AS and bending. Without Aang appearing for korra there would be no realization. I hate that yall try to use this as a way to discredit Aang’s obvious hand in this moment.

Aang didn't give korra power here. This scene is so misunderstood, this is the visualisation of korra realising she can restore her lost bending ability by opening her own blocked Chi Paths once entering the avatar state. And afterwards finally connecting to her past lives.
