A few days ago, Dr. Mahnoor was the victim of an acid attack. Today, we are mourning the tragic loss of 17-year-old #EshalFatima from #Jhang. 💔 According to reports, Eshal was kidnapped and subjected to a horrific assault before she succumbed to her injuries. Her story has shaken the conscience of the nation and left many questioning how long women and children will continue to suffer such brutality. What makes this even more painful is that these tragedies are not isolated incidents. From Punjab to #Balochistan, countless women and children continue to face harassment, violence, abuse, and exploitation. Many cases never make headlines, and many victims never receive the justice they deserve. A society cannot call itself civilized while its daughters live in fear and its children remain vulnerable. The safety of women and children is not a regional issue, a political issue, or a social media trend, it is a fundamental human right. Today, we remember Eshal Fatima. We stand with every woman and child who has suffered violence, whether in Jhang, Balochistan, or anywhere else. Their pain deserves to be acknowledged, their voices deserve to be heard, and their rights deserve to be protected. May Eshal Fatima rest in peace, and may #justice prevail.

Every morning in #Quetta, thousands of girls leave for school with the same routine, books in hand, uniforms neat, eyes focused on the road ahead. But for many of them, the journey is not just about #education. It is about surviving the walk. On busy streets, at quiet corners, near bus stops and shop fronts, there are men who stare too long, follow too closely, and say things no girl should have to hear. Most of the time, nothing is done. People see it, but they keep walking. Girls learn to change routes, walk in groups, lower their gaze, and reach school carrying fear along with their bags. I have seen it too many times to call it rare. Different girls, different days, but the same experience repeating like a pattern the city has learned to ignore. Some stop talking about it. Some stop walking alone. Some start missing school altogether. And yet, it keeps happening, again and again, every single day. Not because it is normal, but because it is allowed to continue in silence.

Daughter of #Balochistan When people talk about the women of Balochistan, they often don’t truly understand their real struggles. At Quaid-i-Azam University in Islamabad, there are many Baloch girls who have left their homes, traveling hundreds of miles to pursue their dreams. Their journey contains far more hardships than comfort. Many of these girls come from areas where girls’ education is still not given the importance it deserves. They face social pressure, financial difficulties, and countless barriers, yet they do not give up. They understand that education is not just a degree, but a light of hope for their families, their communities, and future generations. In the hostels, libraries, and classrooms of Quaid-i-Azam University, these daughters of Balochistan quietly prove every day that dreams are not limited by geography, language, or circumstances. Their silent struggle carries a message: “If a girl is given the right to education, she can not only change her own life but also transform an entire society.” Today, daughters of Balochistan do not need sympathy, they need opportunities. They do not need pity, they need equal rights. Instead, she kept speaking out, carrying the pain and the hopes of her people with her, even when dealing with issues that were incredibly dangerous and politically charged. When you look at everything she stood for, it feels deeply personal. It’s hard not to think that her fierce activism made her a target for the powerful, violent groups caught up in the conflict, forces that likely saw her voice as a genuine threat. While that feels like a natural conclusion to draw given the harsh realities of her work, it’s a personal reflection rather than something proven by hard facts. The painful reality is that Canadian authorities found no evidence of foul play, and to this day, no one has been held responsible. Without clear answers, we are left only with heartbreaking speculation. But what really stays with you, what truly hurts and inspires at the same time, is her sheer determination. Even miles away from home, living in exile and carrying an unimaginable burden, she refused to be silenced. She used every bit of her strength to fight for what she believed in.
