@LightbreakerSel Yeah I don't think it's a restart The pc has been off for 2 months and I just turned it back on, so it kinda got it's restart already :\ I'm still waiting on it to validate game files. We will see what happens.

@RubyMhilaj if its the not the mod thing, it might be your memory cache. usually restarting your PC clears it but you may need to clear your cache of unneccessary files and downloads you don't need anymore

I'm trying a game repair. I want to cry right now I wish I just did a regular log on once in a while just to keep on things and keep it updated. Now my game won't start without crashing and I have no one but myself to blame.

@RubyMhilaj i believe in you!! i had the same thing happen to me with my sims game and boy is this type of thing so exhausting mentally --

@LightbreakerSel Thing is, the game won't even start with dalamud disabled. It just keeps crashing, with or without plugins or dalamud itself enabled

@RubyMhilaj only thing that im thinking of that COULD be the issue is that you have a lot of mods that have reserved files that are crashing the game. we had that issue when penumbra made that update a few weeks ago. so you may need to update a few mods to get rid of those.

The longer I stare at the verifying game files window, the more depressed I get.

I keep crashing after updating even when I try to restart without dalamud I knew more problems were ahead. Has this happened to anyone else? Am I looking at a reinstall or is it something simpler? If I have to redo everything I'm gonna just perish

@zetsubouVolvin Appreciate it. I don't really need a location for it tbh, because it was all props based. The window with the Tempest in the background is a prop I edited and serves as the backdrop against him. So I can do it at any time. It's just finding the wherewithal to set that up again

RIP to that gpose of Emet-Selch I started last year of him in a peignoir laying outstretched on a chaised lounge with his hand toward the camera holding a dripping pomegranate with the Tempest showing through a window in the background. I crashed and never tried again
