For those who like a post on here, did Swim the Arctic Circle last week. Great event, very cool as you swim from Finland to Sweden crossing the Arctic Circle and finishing the day before you started!

A bank holiday shivery 1080m at 10c. Might have been 11c at the end. Still more pleasant while swimming than the afterwards. Gorgeous but still an “iron fist in the velvet glove” type of swim. 🥰😬

Well I’ve had problems with my sacroiliac joint (no idea why yet) which has screwed all my left side: glute, hamstring, calf. Miserable as sin. I can only walk about 200m without being in agony. However today I managed to swim for the first time in weeks. 🎉🥰 1150m. Thank god.
