It's incredible to me that they keep banned trash cards like Hypergenesis that wouldn't even see play just because "it doesn't contribute anything to the gameplay" but these brainless decks like Oops and Neobrand are everywhere. Get players to play MTG, not rock paper scissors.

a really frustrating part of the BnR official twitch stream was when they said they keep oops legal in legacy because its the cheapest deck. People show up to vintage tournaments with unpowered decks but you dont cater the format around them. Or make the other decks cheaper

@dylan_donegan1 I think i go with Pierce. If Steam Vents were a Hallowed Fountain or Watery Grave, I'd probably choose it over Pierce.

@TBO_MTG No creo que Boros sea lo mismo ni que elfos sea jugable en un formato con Fury, Punishing Fire, Living End como instant, etc. Tenes que gastar maná para hacer mesa y despues para robar cartas a cambio, no es lo mas rapido mientras te combean. Igual esta en un tier bastante alto.

@RuloMTG Y… ya pinnacle emissary con skullclamp y Moxes se va à la estratosfera… pero encima ahora tenes que considerar clamp + elves con glimpse, clamp en mazos de cori, en boros mismo es una máquina… lo veo imposible. Es el mejor equipment jamás visto hasta en cubo que jugas Max 1 🫣

Bad weekend at the RC as usual. 6-2 in the main event with RG Landfall (I was 5-1 and lost what could have been a match for a PT invite). Today lost in Top 4 in the Limited Qualifier (2 invites for the Limited PT). 4c Sealed, BG Draft.

@RuloMTG Buena data lo de los breakers! Sigue pareciéndome atroz que no se permita hacer ID. Si venis 8-0 IRL en un evento de 10 rondas, hace rato cerrabas con ID las últimas dos. Si hay que jugarlo (como decís por pair down o la razón que sea) pues se juega.

9th / 438 in the Super Quali due to OMW%. Can't wait for MODO to die. Not because of the 1997 interface, client lag and card bugs. But because it doesn't let you ID, split prizes or even see your breakers! 8-1 into 9th place could never happen in paper magic. GG.
