I work on some of the largest productions in indie animation and I still have to fight for a paycheck. Studios back in the day kept you hired for decades. Now you're lucky to stay working for weeks at a time. They do their best. but we all do this for the love of the game.

Here's a harsh truth, folks. Unless you're extremely lucky, there's really no money to be made working in indie animation. I've written for some of the biggest shows out there, including TADC, Lackadaisy & Hazbin Hotel's pilot, yet I still struggle to live paycheck to paycheck.
