I agree I don't like it when they obviously wouldn't match the role.
But it's a tv show.
And being a pretty face doesn't make a drama. Dropped many.
This was good because story, acting and tension between leads.
Not even many scenes of being a general 1st half.

China cracks down on pretty boys in media Recently Chinese costume drama Pursuit of Jade 逐玉 gained high ratings and viewership. This attracted the attention of censors. National Radio and Television Administration called a meeting w various TV stations, criticizing TV trends focusing on looks, demands stop idol/looks worshipping, establishing healthy aesthetic etc. IMO the issue is disconnect between people who watch TV Dramas and people who criticize TV Dramas. TV Drama audience is primarily women. TV shows usually cater to their viewers' tastes. People who criticize the prevalence of pretty boys in TV shows are usually men but they don't watch those TV dramas anyway. Of course the boomers in the censorship department always err in the direction of maximum control.

Only watched Goblin here but that was for the Grim Reaper and Goblin antics. (Age gap was a no, especially as I was similar/younger than her when it came out so...)

@iiheartalyse2 Antiperspirant yes. As need to let it set in to consistent temp.
Sometimes if I'm drying my hair with a hair dryer I will dry the deodorant/antiperspirant as well. And trust me will not sweat to the point you feel like you need to moisturise the area.

I used to watch Kdramas for then pretty men and Romance.
Now it's for the woman and the plot. Male characters are boring/annoying usually.

Around 49% of Muslims in UK don't work. They depend on welfare handouts from White men in order to feed their children. How can this be identified with honor and pride? You can't really work with an ankle-length robe.

Started watching 1st movie. As a Bangladeshi, I think deserved as soon as they talked about 1971. But annoying that our religion is ridiculed constantly so hard to finish these type of movies. Plus gory so...

As a Pakistani, do you know what’s more bakwaas than the film? A WHOLE Pakistani family watching an anti-Pakistan film in theater to support the industry making anti-Pakistan films. I still hold on to Bollywood love & nostalgia in parts, but seriously? Self-respect is a thing.

(Fanwars aside) but this is seriously heartbreaking. They expected 250k, most establishment increase their inventory, only for it to not sell. Most are perishables. The foot traffic is also below normal day, as roads closed. I hope at least the govt can compensate their losses.
