Through anglicisation, a lot of the place names in Ireland have completely lost their meaning. I would highly recommend learning the place names of Ireland in the Irish language. Those are the names with the meaning behind them 🇮🇪

Is this not also an inevitable consequence of the miserable failure of mobile network operators to deal with spam/phishing calls? I never answer my 'phone unless the number is recognised.

More and more people simply won’t answer their phone, say surveys. It started as a Gen Z thing but is now commonplace among older people too. According to Comreg, voice calls on smartphones collapsed 30pc last year. Taking a voice call is “pressure”. independent.ie/business/techn…
