Team GB is saddened to hear of the death of Olympic champion Mary Rand.
Rand made history at the Tokyo 1964 Olympics, where she became the first British woman to win three medals at one Games.
Rand broke the world record as she won long jump gold, alongside pentathlon silver and bronze in the 4x100m relay.
She was named BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 1964 and and awarded an MBE in 1965.

@A38Cycleway @for_birmingham Could they not just close the gap to cars as cars can cross the central reservation by Pebble Mill and Eastern Road? I've run, driven and cycled past it in the last few days and it's very dangerous for bikes

🚨 The Cycleway is temporarily closed between the University and Pebble Mill Road.
@for_birmingham have raised this with the council as there is no warning or safe alternative provided. It’s due to traffic light failure at Mill Pool Way.

Takes me to 2nd on the European all-time list. ✌️
Might have been a little too controlled early doors, but those 7 hills are brutal. 😅

Day trip to beautiful Kotor. Trev’s sense of humour on point. Told woman there is a pub at the top of the 1359 steps 🙊 & she was delighted (there isn’t) then shouted “dog coming” in a shop selling cat merchandise 🙈. Lord make him never change! 🙏🏻

@KatharineMerry @bbcwm I've missed this but would like him to look at the traffic management iver last weekend in view of the Europeans next year. Some athletes had to leave cars on side roads to get to the stadium on time to register. Absolute chaos coming out of the stadium
