Proud of Dr. parker Adams PGY5, to a part of his training, as he calmly sutures the IVC during a Level 3 IVC tumor thrombectomy using the retro approach. The Intuitive Single Port robot is not limited to only basic procedures and can offer advantages over standard approach.

And only an hour later I was honored to be a part of associate Professor Dan Moon and team performing the first Intuitive Single Port partial nephrectomy in under 1.5 hours! Demonstrating a Retro access utilizing the Lexion advanced insufflation system here at Epworth, Melbourne

So proud to be a part of the first robotic cases at Memorial Hospital in Marysville, Ohio. Dr Elizabeth Snajdar my former chief resident excellently performed a simple prostatectomy and pyeloplasty. The team was top notch!!!

Honored to be in Tokyo speaking along side the top robotic surgeons of Japan about new procedural approaches and improved patient outcomes using the single port robot. What a wonderful conference - JSER 2024!

It’s been a BIG week. First SP urology case in the books as staff and also first URO SP case for @MUSChealth @MedUnivSC . Definitely not an easy first case I picked for simple prostate that weighed 250 grams but also… @drjkaouk thanks for giving confidence boost #fellowship 😊

@RoboDocX I have a long way to go…:) I’m still following the trail that many great urologists such as yourself have blazed… but I love learning and always looking to improve patient care and outcomes…!

@RoboDocX I had a similar case - I went for a robotic pyelolithotomy and cystolithotomy and intraoperative transperitoneal (robotic) flexible URS. URS wasn’t completely successful but good enough for stent removal. Patient needed a second URS for removal of the remaining stones.

Let's talk strategy! 65 year old male with retained ureteral stent > 5 years. Complete staghorn (only partially shown), encrusted ureteral stent and 8 cm bladder stone. Kidney 25% by mag3. Patient wants to try to rehabilitate this kidney. What's next in your algorithm?

@RoboDocX I like what Dr. Badri @AnandBadriMD stated. I would go SP at level of 11th rib transabdominal and do kidney portion first and then go to slight T-burg, and do cystotomy. Going retro would be difficult unless your really good at the SARA by Dr. Crivellaro @SimoneCrivella2 .
