Jack you do an excellent job with the Browns cap stuff and were all over Garrett’s option bonus. But how is it 50/50 they trade him this year? It would be post June 1, draft capital coming back would be 2027+ and we still have to play the 2026 season. They’re not going to undercut Monken’s first year as HC like that. You’re spot on about this making a trade more likely. We should be talking 2027 and 2028 though. That’s when they can trade him pre-June 1 right? Makes no sense to trade him unless you realize that value in that same year’s draft and then go have a season.

25th March - Garrett was due his option bonus ending all 2026 trade talk Instead Myles & #Browns move this date back 5 months. No change to the salary cap for 3 years. Just extends his trade window But apparently it has nothing to do with trading him 🙄 247sports.com/nfl/cleveland-…

The Harbaugh pitch for Haslam and the #Browns is pretty simple: 1. We have an elite defense, with the best defensive player in the NFL, a great secondary and the defensive rookie of the year. 2. We will give you more money than anyone else. 3. You will have full control. 4. Come resurrect the team you and your entire family rooted for your whole life. Not saying it will work, but that’s the pitch.
