@2m0sql @W8LR_Jerry I wish it could be possible 🍻. What really happened after the connection issue is that your favorite GCube operator got COVID today and he was at the test center during last pass. Can you hit the like button to wish him a speedy recovery? (He’s super fine but stuck at home) 🏡

IO-117 12:52-14:09UTC Sep 24 2400b. Two contacts after many TX attempts @N0GVK and @FG8OJ . 191 TX tries, but many of these earlier settings experiments. Soundmodem defaults, 9700, TBW 100-2900, 75 watts. Still a struggle! dave

@Rick_EA4M @W8LR_Jerry We LOVE the support you’re giving to the mission and the fact that the satellite has new life with you passionates. When we’ve telemetry work to do we can warn you, but latch-ups can’t be predicted and we just have to solve them as soon as we can 🤓

@Rick_EA4M @W8LR_Jerry The schedule is to keep GC’s Digi on as much as we can. MEO is extremely challenging and sometimes latch-ups can occur. When they combine with the (not new, but still solving) connection issues at the ground segment it takes a bit more to get everything up and running

@S5Lab can you tell us anything about IO-117 and what is going on with it? Even if it would be bad news for us Hams, it would be appreciated.

@2m0sql @W8LR_Jerry @K8DP_Doug Nevertheless, we love to hear how you all guys are passionate with our tiny little guy. We’re working to get the digi back on, struggling with the GS connection (now it’s no news, but working on that too). We’ll keep you posted when it’s back ON and nominal!

@2m0sql @W8LR_Jerry @K8DP_Doug Yes, as Peter was saying the plan is to keep the digi on as much as we can, but keep in mind that GreenCube is in an extremely challenging environment (deep into the Van Allen belts) and latch-ups occur sort of frequently.

@FG8OJ @ij7dx_ij7sat Yes, we’re checking. Greencube likes to enjoy free weekends but we like it more when it helps ham radios on Saturdays and Sundays 😬. Keep you posted on the problem, nothing looks super problematic at this time. Best! 7️⃣3️⃣
