In our last session of the day, Andrey Parkhitko brought us up to the state is science in methionine restriction, Masahiro Morita identified a novel metabolic pathway in RNA regulation, and UTHSA trainee Eduardo Gutierrez Kuri talked about myelin metabolism in aging

In our late morning session, learning about mitochondria and resilience relationships and potential interventions including semaglutide (not just for Hollywood). Talks from Tiffany Cortes, Irina Conboy, and Saurav Saha.

Guess what? Diet and exercise preserve aging muscle function. In our morning session, talks from Betinna Mittendorfer, Adam Konopka and Chris Adams discussed mechanisms, outcomes and potential interventions for healthy aging.

After a heavy meal of TX BBQ, we kicked off the conference with talks telling us that's not a great idea for health from Ian Lanza, Annabelle Wang, and Reema Kaddurah-Daouk.
