Thank you to our 2023 Seal of Biliteracy participants! We had participants from all 5 high schools presenting in 14 different languages!! The #NYSSB recognizes HS graduates who demonstrate proficiency in English and one or more languages #sealofbiliteracy @SyracuseSchools

We are so proud of the #SCSDDiversity of our students! @GrantGatorsSCSD 8th grader Mooloe Eh Paw was born in the U.S. but her family came here from Thailand. She said they maintain many traditions from Thailand – her favorite is making Pad Gra Prow for herself and her siblings!

Ms Yupanqui’s fifth graders practiced their presentation skills as they shared their cultural brochures to wrap up Unit 1! Students shared key words in their home language and developed their cultural competence with this creative end of unit project! @iteachENL @HuntingtonSCSD
