My finale trip to Cedar Point with Music In The Parks. Both band & orchestra earned Superior ratings 1st Place & 1st place overall and Esprit de corps trophy again this year! I was recognized for retirement - kids played exceptionally 96/100 with MUCH spirit. Go Rebels!@LarsonMS

I was at Athens all day preparing for their Spring Band Concert tomorrow night as guest conductor. Adam Cable is preparing to be a new daddy! What a special opportunity to work with so many of my former Larson Band students! All 4 groups sound great! @Athens_Bands @LarsonMS

MSBOA District 16 MS Honors Band-8 Larson Band students selected! As the chairperson once again a ton of work but rewards are seeing over 200 band students from 39 schools come together over 2 days and 4 hours of rehearsal to make awesome beautiful music! @LarsonMS

Many students from Larson’s band and orchestra will be performing tomorrow at the MSBOA Solo & Ensemble. Many hours of preparation has been invested- we wish you well as you perform for judges!

One Troy!- we had a good representation of middle school students from Troy performing at the All-state performance this morning in Grand Rapids. @LarsonMS

Michigan Music Conference including the Middle School All-State Honors Band-Larson Band’s Daniel Zhang as the first chair trumpet section leader. I remember my first time teaching him on Zoom! Looking forward to performance this morning. @LarsonMS

It was a busy, but fun day today swapping with one our elementary band teachers. Matt Tignanelli taught my middle school bands and I went to FIVE of his elementary schools. Our Troy Elementary Instrumental staff are amazing. @LarsonMS
