ECEs are preparing together to open @SD22Vernon 4-year old Preschool Programs this month. We will have five locations ready to welcome children September 26th. Deep collaboration & learning today as we design these exciting new programs. Dream. Believe. Achieve. 💫

Early Learning & Child Care staff have been setting up @SD22Vernon spaces for before & after school care programs on school grounds this week. After 2 days of programming, the children have listed outdoor play, Lego, and the Playdoh as some of their favourite activities! 🏈⚽️

Before school child care started bright and early at 7:15am today! Overheard as these two friends played together “you’re a genius!” Our incredible @SD22Vernon ECEs and Child Care staff are ready to welcome children into all of our school age licensed programs today! ♥️

When a child enters school, what is their street-level experience? - What’s on the walls? - How clean and organized is the space? - Who greets you when you arrive? - How are you greeted? (language, nonverbal cues, words) - How clear is signage? - Do you feel seen, loved, valued?
