This piece focuses specifically on the choices we make within our temporal state as we serve as caretakers of this world. I hope that this artwork conveys that protecting the Earth and all its inhabitants should stem from a foundation of love, compassion, peace, joy and service.

This painting explores the mental, physical, and emotional challenges we all face—the scars and blemishes, both seen and unseen, that remind us of experiences we might prefer to forget...Our challenges are stepping stones, and we must never lose faith or hope...find peace within.

Sometimes I would select a painting I have done in the past, and add more details. Although I once considered it complete, just looking at it again makes me realize it was incomplete. For me, "completion" is not about the complexity of an image, but the clarity its message.

My work is deeply rooted in color symbolism and personal growth. I utilized purple to signify royalty, creativity, wisdom, and spirituality, and the blue tones represent peace, calmness, tranquility, and divine protection... this painting is about the journey of self-discovery.

Each painting possesses its own life force and is only completed when it is truly ready. Because I do not rush a piece, the duration of my process varies significantly; some small paintings are completed in days, while others require weeks, months, or even years.

My current technique is the result of years of experimentation and the evolution of various artistic styles. Now that I have mastered this approach, I find absolute pleasure in the execution of each individual piece....

This painting is about making it through life's journey, when the going is rough, or dark, or tumultuous! We must never lose hope! There's always a silver lining, a helping hand, a listening ear, a shoulder, a light at the end of the tunnel, and God's Love, Guidance and Grace...

"The Surfer spiritually means adaptability, strength,  independence and the ability to flow with life's powerful and unpredictable forces while maintaining inner peace and balance. It also represents the ability to adapt to life's shifts challenges with ease and self assurance.

My favorite scripture is the first and greatest commandment given to us, "Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." Matthew 22 - 37. " And the second is like unto it, Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself." (39)

GHOSTS OF YESTERYEAR, was painted for an exhibition at the Ritz Theater, Oct 2025. This is my second Halloween painting! The first one was for Halloween 2024! I love expressing myself using colours to communicate an idea or to express myself creatively on canvas.

We said goodbye to Moose yesterday. He came into my life when I needed pure love, and that’s what he gave me for 14 years. We traded on that love, as well as something else I now realize was important: routine. For a guy like me who left home at 19 and had never lived the same day twice, our routine brought real comfort and stability. When dinner is always at 8, and the afternoon walks are at 4:30, those kinds of things can heal your heart. And they did, time and time again. Today my heart is so heavy and sore, but there’s more love in my life than there has ever been, and that’s because Moose helped lead me to it. It can’t be long before I unearth an old tennis ball - there must be a hundred out there under sticks and brush that were too hard to fish out - and when I do, I’ll give it a toss, and think about the dog I had when I was becoming a man, and how he was such a good dog, and that there isn’t ever enough time. But there’s enough love. There’s more than enough.

My MEDITATION SERIES of paintings came about because of my inner journey, as I search within myself for a deeper connection to who AM I, as PURE SPIRIT! I decided to do a couple paintings to add to my MEDITATION SERIES... Meditation calms me, relaxes me, invigorates me...💙🙏🏾

"SOUL! ENERGY! INVOCATIONS! REVISITED!" is the name given to this Remarque creation. I feel nothing happens by chance and everything happens in its own time and for a reason. Most often the reason is not revealed until a future time...

The symbols on the main sail, the Globe is one of the universal symbols that represents Humanity and the stem of leaves, an Adrinkra symbol means Trust in God. And the Spiral symbol throughout the painting represents the cycle of life, from birth, life, death and rebirth.
