I've been asked why my books often take like 3-4 years to come out. Well, I'm a slow writer of course...but marketing is tiresome, and the whole setup (esp if you are trad or with a small publisher) can take a lot of time. But it's mostly because of cat videos

My royalty check just arrived. I can finally quit my job and write full-time for the next 14 minutes.

German. Fourteen years of trying to learn (i dislike german), and now I found out I can try for naturalisation here in French regardless of the canton (i used to speak fluent spanish)...

I was born to be an author of a different era one where I didn’t have to think of something clever to post daily to the public or pretend that my personal life is something people want to know about but could remain a mysterious creative figure writing my weird dark stories
