ATP Monte Carlo 🇲🇨 🇧🇷 João Fonseca & 🇷🇺 Andrey Rublev MLP (@ 1.72/-139) Hit 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 - If you’re 𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 🍀 First up, I’m putting my faith in the Brazilian sensation João Fonseca in his tournament debut. While his results during the early South American clay swing weren’t exactly what he wanted, the kid has evolved massively since then. You can tell he’s been a sponge while going toe to toe in those high pressure matches against the likes of Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz lately. He’s facing Gabriel Diallo, a guy who stands at 6'8" and has a massive serve that usually wreaks havoc on hard courts, but that weapon loses a lot of its bite on the slow, grueling clay of Monaco. Diallo’s lateral movement is his Achilles' heel, and on this surface, Fonseca has the tactical patience and the heavy groundstrokes to keep him on the run and expose those defensive gaps. This feels like the perfect spot for Fonseca to announce himself on the big stage. To add this one, I’m sticking with a guy who practically treats the Monte Carlo courts like his own backyard, Andrey Rublev. He’s taking on Nuno Borges, and while I respect the solid career the Portuguese has been putting together, this is just a nightmare matchup for him. Rublev has been an absolute brick wall in this rivalry, winning all three of their previous encounters without dropping a single set, including a very recent clinical win in Hong Kong. Rublev’s history here is legendary, he’s the 2023 champion and was a finalist back in 2021, so he knows exactly how to manipulate the conditions in his favor. As the 13th seed, he has way too much raw power and baseline consistency for Borges to handle in a best of three on red dirt. It should be another disciplined day at the office for both players. #ATP #ATPMonteCarlo #BettingX
