@chele5792 @Dallas1Tyler Yeah… word is that the TMobile deal goes through like 2028. ESPN bought mlb.tv from MLB just this offseason, and they’re certainly going to want to do something different and that makes them more money.

I’m going to miss this when it’s gone.

@LeoLuna93 Matos has been someone that does better with consistent time. Probably won't get that with the Giants. Jerar can also play 1st as a righty when Devers is the DH

@LeoLuna93 To be fair, those two seasons for Jerar, he got about the same amount of AB's as Matos did last year

Waiving Luis Matos just feels wrong I get the Jared Oliva hype—he’s stolen 14 bases and hit .375/.444/.550 this spring. But his small MLB sample size .179/.220/.214 in 59 PA is concerning I want Jerar Encarnación to be that power bat so bad, yet Matos hit more HRs in 2025 alone (8) than Jerar has in his last two MLB seasons combined (7 total)

Marques Johnson was not in camp as a non-roster invitee, but he did make the most of his appearances this spring: 4.2 IP 1 ER 0 BB 8 SO

He's a really good coach, but I wonder how his style will fit the Big 12. I'm sure he'll be able to recruit better players than he did at St Mary's tho

It would have been awesome to see what this Texas Tech team could have done with JT Toppin healthy. Still showed a lot of fight down the stretch of Big 12 play and in the opening round. Grant McCasland is one of the best coaching minds in the sport. TTU is not going anywhere.

Selfishly can’t wait until this season is over simply to not have to listen to our WHINY FAN BASE. Sports are hard & we are entitled to NOTHING. We have done NOTHING to warrant entitlement. Just be happy we have a great coach and supportive alumni to keep the engine going.
