I joined this group to hopefully find some comfort. I lost my baby to FIP yesterday and it hurt so bad. I did everything to try to save him but his little body couldn’t take it and he finally gave up. He died in my arms. I find myself crying and it’s like it’s not going away. I got him 2 years ago to fill a hole in my heart and he definitely did that and now it’s like the hole got 100 x’s bigger. I just wanted to find a group that can help me get through this because sometimes people don’t understand how it feels to lose something so dear to your heart. He was more than a pet I never considered him a animal I considered him my child he was my family. I just hope this pain will ease up a little and I can find some type of comfort. I’m so broken 💔. This wasn’t supposed to be the end of us he was only 2 years old and we had a whole life ahead of us planned out and all. My life will never be same without you. You saved me and I couldn’t save you. Every day, I see numerous posts about people’s pets passing away and how painful it is. I “like” each post because I feel each pet deserves it. Today it’s my turn. After 11 months our adopted rescue Cat, Pam passed today. It was the hardest decision we’ve ever had to make, but we know he’s now pain-free and running happily. He was the sweetest, kindest boy. My posts never get many views, but if you could look at the pics of our sweet guy, I’d really appreciate it.

Teddy was 14 years old we lived together 12 years, she passed away 3 days ago — my soul aching honey was suffering from heart issue, she looked at me for the last time of her life then she left. I feel devastated I’ve never realized what she was giving to me until she gone, the kindness and tenderness she was spreading in the house passed away with her. Honey forgive me for any negligence .. I love you I will always do!

My cat was not feeling well. Took him to the vet, and he had a tumor in his lung causing fluid in both lungs and around his heart. My baby was slowly suffocating. When I got up this morning, the last thing on my mind was saying goodbye to my cat. Today is his 12th birthday, and my heart is shattered.
