I had a wonderful time meeting a charming Hamilton couple, Sheila and Alan Smith. Deputy Lord Lieutenant William Morrison Young and I popped in to congratulate them on their Diamond Wedding Anniversary, and it was lovely to chat with them and hear about their life together.

It was a pleasure to welcome youth Olympian Holly Burke as my guest yesterday to present her with a token of congratulations on behalf of the people of South Lanarkshire. As part of @TeamGB she won gold in the mixed rink curling event in the Youth Winter Olympics in South Korea.
