@MaltstotheMax @AJNewbury94 No they didn’t. Tell me wise one how does my child become a clinical psychologist without going to uni. How do nurses/doctors do their roles without a degree? These roles benefit society and you directly - they made a decent choices which will cost them to retirement

@SLight74 @AJNewbury94 No one forced them to get a university education they don't need.

Particularly enjoyed the 'well how did you guys pay for it' section, when challenged on how to fund education by a panel of people who didn't have to pay for their own.
The pearl clutching around how tuition could possibly be paid for by a political establishment who all had theirs state funded will never cease to amaze me.
Tuition fees and the extortionate costs dumped on our generation should be a national scandal - if it had happened to any other generation, it would be.

The combined tuition fees of the entire Question Time panel would not cover my cost for 1 year of uni. Is that fair?

@CrazyVibes_1 Any crafter will tell you that’s EXCEPTIONAL work….i love it

Am I overreacting? I bought a sweater for my future niece, and my roommates said it was ugly! I ordered from the local crafter, I wanted support her, cause I love this community, and I think its pretty nice, but my roommates said it was ugly My sister in law is pregnant and I found this sweater for the baby girl at a Mexican farmers market today. (Baby is half mexican half islander) I brought it home and excitedly showed it to my roommates and they called it ugly. I told them they were mean and have been keeping to myself for the night. They have me doubting if I should give it to my sister in law.

@gotrice2024 My daughter is 21 and STILL won’t wear a coat….she doesn’t even own one

I remember a few times having one of my parents following me to school in the winter when I refused to wear those bulky, heavy jackets. As an adult now I get it, I had someone ask me once why I had a jacket on and my kid only had a hoodie on. You know how nosy people are and how quick they are to rush to judgement. Are you like this too, no matter how cold it is, a nice sweatshirt or hoodie is more than enough?

@DrHFRyan Like many lawyers, me too.

Like many doctors, I remain concerned that #LucyLetby is the victim of an awful miscarriage of justice.

@JamesTitcombe My brother passed away in 2012, due to medical neglect. When the coroner asked the CEO of the trust who they felt was to blame, their response was 1 doctor. In fact there was a Swiss cheese of 5 different errors that could have prevented his death. This is why I do what I do.

We need:
•Clear accountability for competence, behaviour & integrity
•Psychological safety so people can speak up & learn without fear
•An end to cultures that punish human error instead of fixing systems
•Wider system reform - including legal frameworks - so every part of the system pulls in the same direction
