SNE Weather Coverage

Without getting too cute this is my view of our overnight/morning overrun. Will opt wet/slushy roads, grass, cars, etc for some accumus. Melted by later in the day. Some thought brief alignment could impress rate wise for 2-3hrs but the inhibitors are a lengthy list as well.

March remains undefeated as the worst month of the year in SNE… 🤮

It'll be a brief weak to moderate warm air advection event. Surface temps remain "mild" overnight for most starting at 35-37F, bottoms out around 32-35F, warming up mid morning as it comes. Wet low ratio snow. Yards & Cars coated. Roads likely wet or slushy. Current NWS Forecast.

Rain showers are starting to move across the region this afternoon and will continue through tonight. Rain will likely switch to a wet snow and some sleet from northern MA down into CT, RI, and parts of SE MA early Monday morning. #MAwx #RIwx #CTwx

Ever seen a snow system look like this? A very picturesque low pressure system swirling off the coast of Alaska. Almost resembles a tropical system, even though of course it's frigid.

While the western U.S. crushes high temperature records, we will remain relatively cool in the Northeast in the next couple weeks
