As I described throughout my campaign for PCC. There are significant issues of Equality in the UK. We also need to take a serious look at drug crime and enforcement.

I have been informed that my result for the PCC election in Hertfordshire is the best of any Lib Dem candidate ever! I don't however want to hold this title for long as we must now get @LizWebsterLD elected in Wiltshire following the disgraceful behaviour of the Tory candidate.

My door will always be open to the PCC if he wishes to consult on some of the policies that I proposed. The @LibDems have proven that we have huge support in Hertfordshire and I am incredibly grateful for each and every person that put their confidence in me.

After seeing last year’s elections postponed, it felt particularly special to exercise my rights again. I voted several days ago by post for the excellent @PaulHitchin7 & @SNorthLD. But whatever your political persuasion, get out there and cast a ballot!

Today we have an opportunity to let the police know that we support them, let the victims of crime know they are not alone, let everyone know we care about law and order, Let minority groups, women and those suffering inequality know that we will take action Vote Sam North

@SNorthLD struggling to decide on my vote for tomorrow. Van theft is a huge issue in Royston, unaddressed by police. What do you propose?

@millette_phil Where e-scooters are used unlawfully or in an antisocial manner, they will be confiscated while the law allows.

@SNorthLD I want to hear you say that the eScooters WILL BE CONFISCATED, We have way too many people flouting the outright ban on eScooters, many teenagers on the road weaving between cars or on pavement putting people at risk. It is not enough for Police to 'talk' need action.

I will create and continue public ethnic minority forum whose role will be to review, ask questions and provide recommendations of policing in Hertfordshire.

I will lead a step change in the way rapes, sexual assaults and Domestic Violence are dealt with within the Constabulary, doubling the budget and increasing numbers of Specially trained officers.

@chrisinhishome Hi Chris, there are currently 11 different councils in Hertfordshire. The responsibility is on Councils to deal with and tackle fly-tipping, but the police do have a role to play and providing a single point of contact will make it easier to manage and oversee!
