@Liam4Orkney @FaroesinLondon Did you know that on 12-13 September 2023, the Presidium of the Faroe Islands Parliament (the Løgting) visited the Scottish Parliament? They met with @POScotParl and Members, to discuss shared topics like healthcare, public engagement and rural connectivity.

Last night, Deputy Presiding Officer @Liam4Orkney attended Scotland’s first Faroese Flag Day Celebration. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇫🇴 It was great to meet Deputy Prime Minister Høgni Hoydal and guests from the Faroe Islands and speak about our many commonalities. We are looking forward to next year!

Delighted to welcome Greg Piper MP, Speaker of @NSWParlLA yesterday, discussing topics including parliamentary scrutiny, voting systems and equal representation.

Did you know that one of the designers of the New South Wales flag, James Barnet, was a Scot? He was born in Arbroath, Angus, in 1827, and worked with retired Royal Navy officer Francis Hixson on the flag, which was officially adopted in 1876.

Today we welcomed the Hon. Greg Piper MP, Speaker of @NSWParlLA, to @ScotParl. Discussions included the work of the Financial Scrutiny Unit and Participation and Communities Team, as well as the Code of Conduct for Members.
