@LyricWrestling I'm not sure on the timing yet, but I've loved him since I first saw him wrestle. I get why his style is divisive, and there's no way he'd make it in WWE, but watching him reminds me why I love pro wrestling. A surprise hero squash is fine as a rare surprise.

I think it's perfectly reasonable to believe Darby is a worthy world champion while still being flabbergasted by how it happened. That's really my only take for now. Congrats to him. It's been a long time coming.

Okay I understand ppl like Durby for whatever reason but to have him squash MJF was a weird booking decision. There’s no way he’s stronger than Omega but again that’s just me and my silly little opinion.

Darby Allin is a top pillar of AEW and a surprise upset is always good for adding to further tension on the show. Would've preferred a more developed match, but a shock hero squash now and then is a positive. I like that I don't know who will have the belt for All In.

@WrestlingMark16 I think he's a top AEW star. Would've preferred a more developed match, but the occasional surprise hero squash is good for keeping things unpredictable. I doubt he's holding it to All In and like that I don't know who will have it.

Twin Peaks: The Return is really amazing. It's the television equivalent of the Sistine Chapel. It's watching a serious artist betting it all on one giant project, and it pays off. A mic drop among mic drops. We all live in its shadow.

It's not about WWE vs the rest, it's sticking true to one of the most critical pieces of the genre. Without selling, the illusion is nothing.
