#TheVRSauce is more than a nickname for my #VR space its now a website as well TheVRsauce.com its a little sparse at the moment, but I will be trying to make a habit of adding to it on a fairly regular basis.

So how is your 2026 going so far? Me:

@SuperSisi That's the type of luck that my Nan use to have. Once on her birthday, at a social club they had a raffle, as it was her birthday they asked her to push the button for the big prize, also without looking she stopped it on her ticket number! She also won at bingo the same night!

I can't believe she did it without looking!! 😱

@SuperSisi A couple of times with my Dad on an Atari 2600 in the early 80's, then much later I got him to play Gran Turismo 4 split screen a few times, but otherwise gaming was just with friends.

Did anyone actually play Video games with their parents like this?

@CraggadoonG I all ways thought there should be a spiders to teddy bears option in VR games! The worst was Until Dawn: Rush of Blood! When you beat the spider boss and hundreds of them cover you, I admit to screaming and carling into a ball from that one! 🕷️😱

@SalsaKstream Yea My arachnophobia did take a beating for sure. VR likes to throw giant spiders at us

I still have this disc even though I dont have the OG PSVR anymore. This is the first PSVR game I played and got me hooked into VR forever. I combined this game with the PS Aim controller and the rest is history.

@SuperSisi Yep it's got a lot of motion! If you're good with Tetris Effect VR then I think you would like Moss as no motion and it supper cute.

What PS1 racing game did you spend most time with?

@SuperSisi Oh and it was like a dream come true when they made WipEout Omega Collection on PlayStation VR. Not a game for anyone with a weak stomach! 🤢🤮 Thankfully I'm good with all the motion sickness safety's turned off! 😍 Barrel roll's and big jumps 🤩🤯

@SuperSisi WipEout 3: Special Edition, just love the distinctive style of The Designers Republic work, plus it plays so well and name a game at that time that had a soundtrack that could match WipEout's playlist.

Sega's 1990 R360 arcade machine cost $90,000 at retail (equivalent to $200,000–$260,000 today). Only 100–200 units were made and even fewer sold It was prone to failures with expensive repairs. Today only 25 have survived, with one in the Galloping Ghost arcade in Illinois USA

@germanrifter I've always said that G-Police would have made a fantastic VR game and this looks like it gets some inspiration from there.

@SuperSisi Half-Life: Alex, Had to wait 16 years for a new Half-Life game and Valve went a made it for VR 🤩 I was so excited for this game and that it didn't disappoint when I finally got to play it was awesome!🥰

What video game reveal made you this excited?

@SuperSisi I've paid more for race sims and flying sims, but the way I see it, if you compere with the cost of going to a cinema of $16-$30 for a couple of hours, or $100 for hundreds or even over a thousand hours on a game or sim then its good value for time entertained?

Would you pay $100 for a video game?

@SuperSisi Maga Drive 6 button controller that was released at the same time as Street Fighter 2.

Which was your favorite Sega controller?

@SuperSisi @JasonXMedia The 1st game Astro Bot Rescue Mission wins by a large amount! It's just so much more involving, being in it, having to look around, having the tracked controller transform into different tool modes in your hands, it works on a level that is just not possible out of #VR.

For someone who has never played it, what is so good about Astro Bot?

@SuperSisi @JasonXMedia Astro Bot Rescue Mission is a PSVR exclusive and has game mechanics that just don't work outside of VR, so yep it's VR only. The 2nd Astro Bot for PS5 is not VR, I wish it was, but was just made to show off DualSense active triggers and haptics, still cute tho.
