Everyone discussing this has said they have never seen this called a flagrant. It was a big reason Hou tied the game. Foster the extender.

@TWolvesLead 2. I admit error in stating he was bleeding from mouth. Realize that was at end of regulation. Point was Foster saw Sengun lying on floor grasping head, his elevating call to flagrant occurred after pause which is good. He was also in position, unlike many of his other calls.

No attempt to stop. Flop? Randle is one of strongest in league. Ref saw Sengun holding head. Can’t fault this call. Others? Yes.

@SamRyanWX @BaseballNorm @TWolvesLead I do have to question the head snap back holding when you look at the replay to assess if it meets the level of a flagrant on slow motion replay where there is zero head contact, head contact is never mentioned, and it was simple a BS call that nobody has ever heard being called.

@BaseballNorm @TWolvesLead I hear ya. I stopped officiating any lower level games for same reason but found the Jv/v levels to be a blast. Having kids of own really helped my maturing process too and last few years was surprised at my own game management which made officiating way more enjoyable.

If you think it’s so easy why don’t you stop playing and actually pick up a whistle…pay wasn’t worth hassle

@SamRyanWX @TWolvesLead I know ball too…I reffed for 20 years of MSHSL league basketball and that included state tournament games. A refs job is to officiate the game and not be part of the story, Foster makes it about himself. Sengun loses benefit of doubt as he flops so much
