I was dressed exactly like this when I was run over in Moycullen in broad daylight. The factors that most strongly influence cyclist safety are driver speed, enforcement levels, road layout, and safe cycling infrastructure, not what we are wearing. A 🧵

Hi @corkcitycouncil ! Why are you designing cycling infrastructure in 2025 that leads to direct conflict between bike users and pedestrians, and then spits bike users directly back onto the road before a narrow bridge with zero priority? This really isn't acceptable.Clontarf St

@Samtm023 Hi Sam, If the train you have a ticket for is cancelled, you can travel on any Northern, LNER or TransPennine Express within 2 hours before or after your cancelled service was due to depart. ^SC

@northernassist hi, im booked to Leeds using affected train 17.01 from Newton le Willows. This was cancelled. Can I use transpennine to Manchester and swap to Leeds train there instead? 17.14 train showing with change at Victoria. Thanks

@what_if_cork Those also have shards of glasses sticking out along the edges of where the windows once were. Absolutely lethal if any kid grabbed onto them or if someone fell into them. They are an eyesore and a danger & Eir+council should be ashamed leaving them in that state on our main st.
