Had so much fun at “space prom” last night at the RNASA awards. So incredibly proud of my partner for being nominated for a stellar award for his work on lunar robotics! 🌙 🤖 Fun fact: the flag on the nomination flew to space on Crew-8 which I did the launch commentary for!

In addition to science, cargo vehicles also may deliver fresh fruit and vegetables to the @Space_Station. This is always a welcome change from our dehydrated and preserved food and is a huge morale boost, bringing smiles all around. Thank you to all those involved in this shipment on the @northropgrumman Cygnus NG-24!

54 years ago we splashed down after the first crewed US mission to space. On Friday we are doing it again, as our Artemis II astronauts return home from their historic Moon mission and the first crewed test flight of Orion. This time we do it in preparation to stay. 🌙

@TheCVStore I will sure miss those lunar views and our coverage too. But we do have cargo and supplies launching to the International Space Station on Saturday that you can tune in to see! nasa.gov/blogs/spacesta… Space station has been continuously inhabited by humans for over 25 years.
