Saint Joseph, Terror of Demons, Pray For Us !
Father V@father_rmv

PRESIDENT TRUMP'S MESSAGE ON THE FEAST OF ST. JOSEPH "Today, I send my best wishes to Catholics and other Christians celebrating the Feast of Saint Joseph—the earthly father of Jesus Christ and one of the most revered figures in the Bible. Saint Joseph was a model father, husband, and worker, as well as a living embodiment of Christian virtue.  He spent his life working tirelessly, without accolades or recognition, to protect his family and raise the Son of God.  Through every trial and tribulation, Saint Joseph led his family with dignity, strength, and moral courage.  In the face of uncertainty and danger, time and again, he valiantly surrendered to God’s will with faith, fortitude, humility, and obedience—playing a central role in the life of Jesus Christ and the history of salvation. Saint Joseph also holds a distinct place in American culture, especially for the Italian-American community.  Every March 19, Catholics in New Orleans, Louisiana, and throughout the Nation construct beautiful altars in his honor.  From the factories of St. Louis, Missouri, and the deserts of Santa Fe, New Mexico, to churches, chapels, and homes all across our country, Catholics have credited him with extraordinary miracles.  He is recognized as the head of the Holy Family, the patron saint of workers, and the “Terror of Demons,” and he remains revered by countless citizens for his tremendous example of what it means to be a man, father, and husband. In recent years, our Nation has witnessed the rise of an extremist cultural movement that has sought to weaken the values championed by Saint Joseph.  But my Administration is offering a much brighter vision for our rising generation.  Instead of indoctrinating our young men with radicalism and hate, we must encourage them to embrace faith, get married, start a family, and raise the next generation of proud, freedom-loving, God-fearing American citizens.  Guided by his example, we will never stop fighting for Saint Joseph’s legacy in our homes, churches, culture, and public square. On his feast day, we honor Saint Joseph’s incredible life, we pay tribute to his countless silent sacrifices, and we vow to forge a radiant American future marked by the timeless values of faith in God, love of family, and devotion to human freedom." whitehouse.gov/briefings-stat…

BLESSED SOLEMNITY OF ST. JOSEPH TO YOU & TO YOURS🇻🇦 In 1992, something extraordinary happened in Granada, Spain, a moment many would later call nothing short of a miracle... An Aviaco Airlines plane carrying 94 passengers crashed during landing and split in half upon impact. By all human expectations, this should have been a devastating tragedy. But incredibly… everyone survived! Among those reflecting on this event was a Spanish priest, Fr. Gonzalo Mazarrasa, who believed this was no mere coincidence. He had just completed '30 days of prayer' to Saint Joseph, asking for help in “impossible things.” In those days, the priest said, “I was studying in Rome in 1992 and residing at the Spanish College of Saint Joseph, which that year was celebrating its centenary.” “I was finishing a 30 day prayer to ask the Holy Patriarch for impossible things and a plane broke in two when landing (in Granada) with almost a hundred people aboard: the pilot was my brother.” “There was only one seriously injured man who, thank God, recovered. That day I learned that Saint Joseph has a lot of power before the Throne of God,” the priest said. For many faithful, this moment became a powerful reminder that God works even through the most unexpected and terrifying circumstances and that the intercession of Saint Joseph, the silent protector of the Holy Family, is still alive today. In moments when all seems lost… in situations that seem beyond hope… remember: nothing is impossible with God. St. Joseph, patron of the impossible, pray for us🇻🇦

A solemn procession for the Feast of St. Joseph began at the Basilica of Saint Joseph in the Trionfale district and wound through the parish streets of Rome, in the neighborhood north of Vatican City, before returning to the basilica. The procession was accompanied by the 4th Regiment of Mounted Carabinieri, the Special Company Carabinieri, the Pages of St. Louis, and the Lazio Regional Orchestra Band conducted by Maestro Francesco Procopio. The procession was followed by Holy Mass presided over by Cardinal Emil Paul Tscherrig, Titular Cardinal of the Basilica. How does your parish celebrate St. Joseph?

On June 7, 1660, in Cotignac, France, an extraordinary event occurred... 🇻🇦 Gaspard Ricard, a humble shepherd, wandered under the scorching summer sun. His flask was empty, and no stream or spring was in sight. Parched and weary, he collapsed onto the grass, overcome by thirst and despair, pondering his fate under the relentless heat. Suddenly, an elderly man appeared before him. With calm authority, he said: “I am Joseph. Lift it and you will drink.” Joseph was pointing to a large boulder nearby, a rock that Ricard knew he couldn’t lift by himself. Yet, he tried, and somehow he was able to lift the boulder with ease. Underneath it was a fresh spring of water. Overjoyed, Ricard looked up to thank the mysterious stranger, but he had already vanished. Ricard rushed to the village to tell everyone about the miraculous spring. Soon enough the spring became associated with countless miracles, both physical and spiritual, and a shrine was built at the location. The spring of St. Joseph in Cotignac has been a pilgrimage site ever since, and a nearby shrine was eventually combined with a separate apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Joseph that occurred in 1519 under the title of Our Lady of Graces. In a world that often celebrates grand gestures, St. Joseph’s miracle in Cotignac calls us to recognize the quiet, steadfast ways God works through His saints. Let us turn to St. Joseph in our times of need, trusting in his gentle guidance and protection.
