Man driving past me shouts “hey nigger”, which yes, is peak irksome (but not particularly surprising these days). But I’m always intrigued what a racist then does after that 3 second incident??? Like how long do they remain smug for? Do they feel a legit sense of achievement? 🤔

Cheers - it’s not my year for pupillage, but I’m so proud of how far I have come. The rejections hurt and they will for a while, but I will come out better and stronger. So here’s to all you aspiring barristers, it’s tough, but we got this. 5th time lucky? See you next year.

@elliebwatson_ Also from what I've heard of doing the course part-time some people felt slightly out of the loop when it came to extra-curricular stuff/Inn events and found full-time jobs less flexible in this regard. Good luck 😃

Can any current BPTC students help please? I’m looking for a job alongside the BTC but unsure how feasible working full/part time is whilst doing the full time BTC & LLM? If do-able, how many hours roughly per week? Does anyone have any advice/experience of this please? Thanks!
