@Cicil_BootsUK I think I’ve made my point about poor customer service due to self service tills and my money taken elsewhere. I have no wish to engage further with an AI.

Dear @BootsUK Sevenoaks, I really try to support the high street, but if your horrible self service tills do not register makeup because it is light, the one serving staff member is very busy & other staff refuse to go on the till, I will leave my shopping, walk out & shop online

Kemi Badenoch sneered at our party for caring about communities and working hard to get things done. Well that's who we are. Vote Liberal Democrat on 7th May.

Breaking: Keir Starmer is travelling to the Gulf today for talks with allies about reopening the Strait of Hormuz in the wake of the ceasefire between Iran and the US He will also meet British servicemen and women in the region and thank them for the work they have done in intercepting drones “I welcome the ceasefire agreement reached overnight, which will bring a moment of relief to the region and the world.  "Together with our partners we must do all we can to support and sustain this ceasefire, turn it into a lasting agreement and re-open the Strait of Hormuz."

@HasAhmed_ There were university Summer courses for 6th formers that my white son was not even allowed to apply for because he wasn’t an approved minority. Well done you, but by giving one group a leg up, others just as deserving are being denied the same opportunities.

I arrived in the UK at 13 without a word of English, attended a state school in East London, and within four years had an offer to study law at UCL (not taking it is another story). From experience, those who arrive without English are often among the most driven forced to catch up quickly, they develop resilience and discipline their peers rarely need. So when Matt Goodwin suggests people like me don’t work hard or integrate, it isn’t just wrong, it’s a lazy generalisation that says more about his assumptions than reality.

'He's playing fast and loose with the truth.' @andytwelves calls statistics used in @GoodwinMJ's latest book into question, particularly those on English as an Additional Language for young people.

I’m absolutely livid. @Nigel_Farage and his @reformparty_uk MPs just walked out during my question to the PM about keeping snooker in Sheffield and getting a tram-train extension to Stocksbridge. Farage and Reform don’t care about constituencies or communities like mine.

@LauraLoomer The worse thing than a crying baby on a plane is when it’s YOUR crying baby. This post shows the difference between someone who is childless and any one who has ever been a parent!

Is there anything worse than a crying baby on a plane? I wish parents would control their children. It’s so disruptive. I refuse to believe a baby cries for 10 hours. At some point this is just bad parenting, right?

BREAKING: Ayatollah Khamenei family asking for asylum and refugee status in Britain. @Keir_Starmer advised by Lord Hermer to be sympathetic to the request. 'We are a tolerant welcoming & diverse country. Also they have promised to vote for me.'

When Reform UK say they'll lower the minimum wage for young people, do you know who that takes money from? White working class boys.

@Edwina_Currie I’m enjoying the drama of it all but don’t much care whether #Starmer stays or goes, given whoever replaces him will probably be worse. On balance though @UKLabour has a rat’s chance in Hell of winning under him in 2029, so maybe he should stay!

I don’t agree. Starmer should find the guts, skill and political nous to stay put. The country needs stability .. not a fifth PM in 4 years. And if Rayner took over - God help us all… 🤬🤬🤬👇👇👇💷💷💷

4 days ago, Matt Goodwin was asked to distance himself from far-right extremist Tommy Robinson who's endorsed him. He's failed to do so.

@MichelleDewbs Great speech & I listened through to the end. I can’t get through more than 2 minutes of anything Starmer says. Also good to see a politician who speaks from the heart & is not afraid to tell the truth.

@_sorrengailll Because I have working hands that play the piano, violin & are needed for gardening. Also life is too short. Had nice nails once & I don’t know what the salon did but it took them 6 months to recover.

People asking whether a Bondi Beach incident could happen in the UK have missed that it already has. The Heaton Park Yom Kippur attack would have been an even greater mass casualty event had the attacker not been prevented from entering that synagogue. How quickly we forget.
