Why should I as a post op transsexual woman have to settle for an untrained and inexperienced general practitioner when my insurance will pay for me to see an OB/GYN who has received training in transgender medicine and will provide me with excellent care? If you take being trans out of the equation, would you settle for an inexperienced GP when your insurance would pay for a specialist? I didn't think so.

But many humans do not fall into either category neatly and the purpose of sex categorisation in human society is largely arbitary

Man has always meant adult male human. Just like the term buck is used for a male deer. That’s all it’s ever described until trans activists tried to change it
