A lot of you guys ask me how I use high sens (it ranges from 960edpi base sens to >3360edpi with raw accel). Until April 2025, I used normal low-sens (around 160edpi) with various cloth pads. I have tried many of the most popular control, hybrid, and speed pads, but for me they all felt inconsistent, because aiming on low sens + cloth needs tension. I prefer to be free and glide. I don't like cloth pads because I feel restricted, and everyday a cloth pad feels different because of humidity, used spots, and how much sleep I get. Since I switched to glass pad, it has been much easier to aim as it feels smoother and more consistent. I don't like moving my mouse that much. Personally, it feels comfortable to use my wrist in a small area where I feel perfect control without tension. I am too lazy to use my arm, so when I got my first glass mousepad, I was able to up the sens to what I use now while maintaining the control by using a glass mousepad while wrist aiming. Now, aiming feels smooth. I don't use tension anymore, high sens allows me to precisely move the mouse wherever I want. Since glass mousepad has no friction, I feel unrestricted; I can glide wherever I want consistently. Also, a glass pad lasts forever, and feels the same everyday unlike cloth.
