It’s actually sad to see the attendance in the Markets Field! The players deserve the support but here’s hoping for 3 points 🙌🏻⚽️

@jonnyholland10 No Jonny, technically you are right, but wrong on all other counts. There was literally nothing Casey could do. If you get a red for that I give up

Big fan of Craig Casey but it’s head on head which is a red card, mitigation brings it down to a yellow because he was passive. He’s upright, and a ball carrier shouldn’t be subjected to head contact. Casey’s height or his perceived weakness compared to Cannone shouldn’t matter
Off The Ball@offtheball

"He's absorbing every bit of that tackle... he's the one who gets his nose busted!" Alan Quinlan didn't agree with the decision to sin bin Craig Casey against Italy. 🏉☘️ Off The Ball Breakfast LIVE from 7:30am ⏰ #Irishrugby #rugby

Italy captain Michele Lamaro wanted to say something as @Federugby press conference wrapped "I want to emphasise that the referee, Hollie Davidson has been outstanding. It's, obviously, the first time ever for a woman referee in @SixNationsRugby, and I want to congratulate her"

@Aaron14Sheehan Must be a Munster man. The only people that will alwsys publically dog a young Irish player if he's not from Munster. Zero and I mean ZERO support for Sam from the south. The worst Irish supporters there are.

Sam Prendergast misses a tap over and the commentators barley mention it. It’s embarrassing how protected he is from the media

@ShamrockRovers No such thing as responsible gambling. Really poor considering the anti gambling mantra rightly pushed in the league. Completely off message here Rovers

I find if you want to know what someone is like, you sit down with them and talk to them. Other than that you keep your uninformed opinions about someone to yourself.

Munster are set to look at the option of signing a NIQ second-row to replace Jean Kleyn next season. Likely to be several comings and goings over the summer. More here: m.independent.ie/sport/rugby/mu…

@rcoombes94 @CianTracey1 Don’t agree with that - plenty of times we have been down 2-3 second rows with injury and the depth hasn’t been there to cover it. Could do with a serious high level operator

@CianTracey1 Seems mad to me there is plenty of depth in the second row Ahern, Wycherley Beirne, O Connell, Edogbo even Conor Ryan played solid against the Argentinians on his debut surely you have to looking at new front rows and perhaps a change of forwards or scrum coach in off season

@SeanOBrien71 Yep, 100% and will grow more. ECA and UEFA rules means very little can go to the first division. And gap will widen further in the years ahead.

Main part of the 2025 season solidarity money from Uefa on their site yesterday. The 8 premier clubs last season will get €325,125 each and the 10 first division clubs will get €45,900. The 8 premier clubs should get circa another €87,500 each when the comp is over.
