Prudence Sekgodiso won a Gold medal in the Women's 800m at the 2025 World Indoor Championships. Dricus du Plessis retained his UFC Middleweight Title. Mamelodi Sundowns were runners-up in the CAF Champions League. South Africa won a Bronze medal at the 2025 FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup.

This Southern Rhodesia One Pound note has been handed down to me by my family for safe keeping. In the bottom left is a farm scene. That is Summerfield Farm. Established by my pioneer great great grandfather Alexander 'Sandy' Tulloch. Established in 1894, it was the 1st farm in Penhalonga and the 1st to grow commercial fruit. Today, it is a Chinese owned open cast gold mine.
