We listed our old house for rent 3 days ago. This morning I got my first ever call from a potential tenant. My very first one. I wish I was joking. "Hi, I have a couple questions about your listing." "Ok, fire away..." "I have an ongoing medical malpractice case and was wondering if it was okay if I pay the whole year up front because I'm not working." "Umm.. yeah, I think that would be ok? I don't see why not... I'm guessing that's why you're not working? If it's confidential, that's fine, just curious..." "Yeah, that's why... it has to do with my foot and I can't work." "Ok, what other questions do you have?" "Do you have any dog restrictions? We have a 10 year old pitbull... she's my childhood dog... she's so sweet... never had any issues with her." "Ummm... I think the HOA has restrictions on that breed." (Idk if they do, I just made that up) "Ok, just let me know. Next question. I do have a felony on my record for vehicular manslaughter. The person survived and ended up with only a broken collarbone... and umm... my dad would be living with me, he's my caregiver, he also has a felony on his record but he already did his time. It was his first felony and will be his last felonly." "Umm..." "Yeah... I know it's a lot going on but I don't have any evictions or anything... but I did break a lease when I was 18 because I'm a single mom and well, um... some things we're going on and I was just in mommy mode... but I'm about to pay all that off once I get this medical malpractice money." This is the funniest thing I’ve seen on the internet. Afroman had his house raided by Ohio Adam County deputies… who found absolutely nothing… broke his door, trashed his place, allegedly had $400 go missing… and then they refused to pay for the damages. So, like any reasonable rapper would do… He turned his home security footage into music videos, mocking them. And then, the deputies sued him for FOUR MILLION dollars… because they didn’t like being made fun of. And Afroman’s response? He dropped ANOTHER music video. In his own words: “Unconfidential informant lied to Police to get out of some trouble. Adam County Sherriff officers made a mistake by believing the lie. Raided my house, found nothing, refused to pay for the damages and filed a lawsuit against me, Afroman, for exercising my freedom of speech! This is me holding trial in one song. I hope you enjoy it.” They said his videos “ridiculed” them… so he decided to show them what that actually looks like. And the best part? A jury basically said… yeah… you don’t get to raid someone’s home, end up in their surveillance footage, and then cry because they used it to make fun of you.

@UPS Paid $110 for OVERNIGHT shipping on Thursday. Delivery was to be by 3pm YESTERDAY. Nothing. Still in transit. Call center lied & said delivery was attempted (lie) & there was bad weather (60+ sunny). Why do you offer something you can’t provide????

@jfranklin566 As an adopted person, you were issued an amended birth certificate which reflects your legal, adoptive name. You may have access to your original records depending in where & when you were born. No adoptee needs their OBC as identification.

As an adopted person my birth cert doesn't match my current name. Since both my adopted parents are passed highly unlikely I would ever find adoption paper work. Somehow I have lived 50+ years without this being an issue. Now I can't vote because I was adopted? Family values 🤔

It has been 26 years since the implementation of the Child Citizenship Act, a bill that fixed part of the problem but left a gaping loophole. If we are going to "promote" adoption we must protect adoptees, esp those subjected to unintended consequences. @gregoryluce @StopSHBB
